Vatican Appeal Court Upholds Conviction of Becciu Accuser: The Vatican Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Nicola Giampaolo for slandering Cardinal Angelo Becciu over his role at the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints. The ruling confirms the Vatican Tribunal's October 2025 judgment, leaving Giampaolo's three-and-a-half-year prison sentence and damages in place. The case stemmed from Giampaolo's claims on the Italian TV program Report that money had been requested to advance the beatification cause of former Italian Prime Minister and personal friend of Pope Paul VI, Aldo Moro. The Vatican has now definitively ruled those allegations were criminal slander.

Letter to the Romans 6,3-4.8-11. Brothers and sisters: Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life. If, then, we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has power over him. As to his death, he died to sin once and for all; as to his life, he lives for God. Consequently, you too must think of yourselves as (being) dead to sin and living for God in Christ Jesus.

Run of Saint Andrew: Amalfi's Centuries-Old Tradition. The spectacular 'Run of Saint Andrew' in Amalfi, Italy, is part of a centuries-old celebration honoring Saint Andrew, the city's patron saint. According to local tradition, on 27 June 1544, as the fleet of the Ottoman corsair Khayr al-Din Barbarossa threatened Amalfi, the townspeople prayed for Saint Andrew's intercession. A violent storm scattered the enemy ships, and the city was spared. Each year on 27 June, bearers carry the silver reliquary bust of Saint Andrew at a run up the 62 steps of Amalfi Cathedral, commemorating this traditional account of the city's deliverance.

Italian Secular Press Features Roman Mass: Today's front page of Il Giornale gives prominence to the Mass in the Roman rite. Nico Spuntoni reports on growing concern within the Consistory over the situation of the FSSPX, with the headline: "The Lefebvrist Rift That Alarms the Consistory." Alongside it, editor-in-chief Tommaso Cerno devotes his editorial to the place of Latin in the Church, arguing under the title "Why the Future Speaks Latin" that the long-held assumption that Latin belongs only to the past deserves to be reconsidered.
06/27/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Yesterday, an article was published on tkp.at that refutes the theory that the coronavirus originated in a laboratory: Facts against the lab theory.Source. The “lab theory” is being revived, claiming that a dangerous virus escaped from Wuhan. But this theory overlooks the political Covid maneuvering – masks, injections, lockdowns – and even legitimizes it. Eight facts against the lab theory. A production facility for pathogens. While the world blindly debates “mutants,” leading academics Igor Khmelinskii and Peter Stallinga (University of the Algarve, Portugal), together with Leslie V. Woodcock, have forensically dissected the foundations of the “pandemic.” Their explosive study (peer-reviewed in 2024) proves in black and white what our NEXT LEVEL investigations have long revealed: The alleged “virus” is purely a computer construct. It has never been physically isolated or actually detected. Source: Telegram, April 11, 2026, 8:44 p.m. …
"Young People Want Traditional Mass": Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska, told EWTN on June 26 that he sees "a resurgence of interest in all things traditional, especially among young people": "They want reverence. They want transcendence. They want beauty in the liturgy." He believes this desire is also influencing the Novus Ordo: "I believe that we're seeing a trend turning more traditional even in the Novus Ordo. And I think this is a good thing." Ordained in 1985, Bishop James Conley has celebrated the Mass in the Roman rite since 1988, though about 95% of the time he uses the Novus Ordo.
Bishop James Conley, Lincoln: "There is a resurgence of interest in all things traditional, especially among young people. I see it in my own diocese. They want reverence. They want transcendence. They want beauty in the liturgy." "Thanks be to God we have not only the Fraternity of Saint Peter, but I have a couple of priests who celebrate, with permission of the Holy See, a Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form... It's my hope that as they continue to ordain priests... they will be able to meet the needs of the people who desire this form of the Mass." "So don't give up and don't jump ship."
"Thanks be to God we have not only the Fraternity of Saint Peter, but I have a couple of priests who celebrate, with permission of the Holy See," He is thanking God for Novus Ordo priests who accept V2 as promulgated by the synodal church right? And this is the synodal tradition they want to hand on to the next generation right?
Soccer in Front of the Altar. Worse than Germany: On June 21, the parish priest of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Reina del Clero in Mexico City invited fathers to celebrate Father’s Day by playing soccer inside the church’s nave around the 12:00 Eucharist. Wearing liturgical vestments, the priest also took part in the game. A goal was placed directly in front of the altar, and the fathers took turns shooting while parishioners applauded.

Er sagte, seine Kirche zeige "Respekt für alle", aber nicht für die katholische Tradition. New Yorker Erzbischof zitiert homosexuellen … - Leo XIV. traf den Homosexuellen-Aktivisten Bad …
The implementation phase of the synod “will mark a new stage in the reception of the Second Vatican Council,” Cardinal Mario Grech warned the consistory on Saturday. He is a Cardinal and the Vatican's Secretary of the Synod. His lengthy speech, which was around 3,000 words long, was published on Zenit.org. Much of it was repetitive, focusing on buzzwords such as listening, discernment, communion, participation, the 'exchange of gifts', implementation, and 'conversation in the Spirit'. In terms of density of ideas, the speech was low. The essential message was • the Synod is not over. • implementation is the real work. • synodality should become part of the Church's ordinary life. • this is the next stage of Vatican II. Two key sentences were: "The discernment of the signs of the times, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and the commitment to justice and peace become measures of the Church's diakonia." "In this way, the implementation phase becomes a new stage in the reception …зиёдтар
Catholic observers note particular relevance for Church-affiliated NGOs long scrutinized for heavy taxpayer-funded migrant work that has sometimes blurred into advocacy undermining border security and the common good. A welcome step toward restoring rule of law and authentic charity.
SAINT IRENÆUS - June 28 Bishop and Martyr († 202) St. Irenæus was born circa 120. He was a Grecian and a native of Asia Minor. His Christian parents placed him under the care of Smyrna's bishop, St. Polycarp, who he greatly esteemed. He emulated St. Polycarp and engraved the latter's character upon his heart; so the impressions remained lively even to old age. While he was a seminarian, St. Irenæus was sent to Gaul accompanied by a priest. Soon after, he was ordained to the priesthood by St. Pothinus at the Church of Lyons. When St. Pothinus passed away in 177, St. Irenæus was consecrated the second bishop of Lyons. St. Irenæus' most famous book is titled Against Heresies. He refuted Gnosticism by emphasizing the Deposit of Faith and the now-canonical Gospels. He suffered martyrdom in Lyons around the year 202 during Emperor Severus' persecution. June 28 Saint Irenaeus. breski1 Saint Irenaeus was born in the year 120; he was of the Greek tongue, and probably a native of Asia Minor. His parents, who were Christians, placed him while still young under the care of the great Saint Polycarp, Bishop of Smyrna. It was in this holy school that he learned the sacred science which later made him a great ornament of the Church and the terror of her enemies. Saint Polycarp cultivated his rising genius and formed his mind to piety by his precepts and example, and the zealous young scholar was careful to reap all advantages offered him by the solicitude of such a master. Such was his veneration for his tutor's sanctity that he observed all the acts and virtues he saw in that holy man, the better to copy his example and learn his spirit. He listened to his instructions with an insatiable ardor, and so deeply did he engrave them in his heart that the impressions remained vivid even in his old age. In order to confound the heresies of his age, …зиёдтар
